October 10, 2012~
I have not updated my blog in several weeks, my apologies to all those current and future followers. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks. On Friday October 5, 2012 I was contacted by CNBC as the winner of the #nailthenumber contest in which you had to submit your prediction for the non-farm payroll number released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on October 5th, which I nailed at 114,000. It was my first entry so I was quite pleased with the results. As to the research for my prediction, I used various criteria and then used a … well, can’t tell you everything as I will be entering next months contest as well.
As for recent photography, part of the reason I love shooting Badger football is the camaraderie with other photographers. It’s always a challenge to ‘get the shot’ and then compare, in the media room, to see who nailed it and the differing angles of attack for the shot. Patience is often rewarded and the more I shoot the more I realize it pays off to be in a different position than the other photogs. High risk, high reward.
Speaking of rewards, it’s always entertaining to see where in the world people are checking out my blog/website. So with that in mind I can report that in the last week we have been fortunate enough to receive visitors from the following countries> South Africa, Bangladesh, Russian Federation, Estonia, Belarus, Indonesia, Argentina, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Poland, Taiwan, Canada, Bulgaria, France, Brazil and Pakistan. I keep hoping to have hits from all 192 countries in the world so feel free to log in if traveling to foreign or exotic places… hint hint, Antarctica, etc 🙂
